Dr. Theresa Haley is a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) and adjunct Professor with over 30 years of nursing experience, specializing in sepsis, shock, resuscitation, and critical care case management. She currently works at UCLA Health and Mount St Mary’s University and consults as a content expert with Viven Health, a community-based education company.
She has been an active member of many professional organizations, including the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), National Association of Clinical Nurses Specialists (NACNS), Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI). She has been an active board member of the AACN at UCLA Chapter since its inauguration, serving in multiple roles as administrative liaison, programs, community outreach, and currently as the Chapter’s treasurer.
In her free time, Theresa enjoys gardening, releasing butterflies, hiking, backpacking, and her backyard, the beach.
