As Palliative and Hospice Care evolve as a specialty, new challenges, opportunities and therapies present themselves. These challenges revolve around such issues as providing individualized care for our patients, the opioid crisis, the use of marijuana as a therapeutic modality, and complex legal, spiritual and psychosocial issues. Creative minds in the Interprofessional Palliative and Hospice communities are utilizing innovative practices to meet our many challenges and improve care for our patients, caregivers and even ourselves. This conference offers a diverse showcase of these issues and innovations, applicable to both the inpatient and outpatient provider.
